In a nutshell, the goal of the Journées Combinatoire et Algorithmes du Littoral Méditerranéen (JCALM) is to gather the researchers of the (French and Catalan) Mediterranean coast working on Combinatorics and Graph Theory.
The concerned research groups are mainly the team Combinatoire et Recherche Opérationnelle of LIF in Marseille, the teams APR, Arith, AlGCo and VAG of LIRMM in Montpellier, the project COATI joint of I3S and INRIA in Sophia-Antipolis, and the team GAPCOMB of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona. However, researchers of other teams (from any region) are warmly welcome to join the JCALM.
Each workshop is devoted to a relatively narrow topic, and the talks range from introductory lectures to advanced research results. A problem session will also take place.
The 18th Journées Combinatoire et Algorithmes du Littoral Méditerranéen (JCALM) will take place, for the 3rd time, at UPC in Barcelona on January 18-19, 2018.
The topic of this edition of the JCALM is Ramsey theory.
